A police probe is underway into a hit-and-run in Sheffield after a driver and passenger fled following a crash.

Police seized a blue Toyota after it was spotted being driven dangerously in Lee Avenue and Heath Road, Deepcar, before it collided with a parked vehicle, which is to be written off.

The driver of the car and a passenger fled.

Officers were alerted to the incident at 5pm on Thursday.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
