This weekend Bolt was brilliant, Mo was magical and this lot too proved to the world that they too are true Super Stars.
Like double winning world champion athletes Bolt and the Mobot, the hundreds who took part in the Star Donor Run at Don Valley Stadium and every single one if them sparkled.
Athletes young and old and all of abilities joined others who had never done a run before.
Each and every person taking part did their bit to raise the issue of just how important becoming an organ donor is.
Whatever their reason, or whether they took part in the 5k or 3k event, they all shone like diamonds.
Some were dressed in onesies, some in proper running kits, some in fancy dress - even a look-like of Brave heart William Wallace braved the rain with a broad Scottish smile.
David Hrner took part with around 20 of his mates.
Dave 44, and a kidney transplantee said: “It was absolutely brilliant.
“I did with friends and members of the football team I run Whiston Wildcats together with their mums and dads. The atmosphere was brilliant , the crowd were cheering and it gave everyone a huge lift. I was quite tired because earler in the day I taken part in the cricket and five a side football - but I wouldn’t have missed it.”
