Two hundred runners took part in a 23.5 mile race in the Peak District to raise money for the Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team.

In the annual Trigger Fell Race competitors ran high and treacherous terrain after setting off from Marsden, finishing in Edale.

All but six of the runners completed the race on Sunday, which was won by Simon Harding, from Macclesfield, in three hours 25 minutes.

Scott Jasmine Paris was the first woman home in three hours 52 minutes.
