Human rights my eye
Palestinian asylum seeker Jamal Owda was arrested in Liverpool because he was accused of being in a £7 million people smuggling ring.
But he is to be extradited to Greece for trial and is arguing that he is not going, because this would breach his human rights. Human rights, my eye.
This means that he must be guilty of these crimes if he is refusing to go to Greece. Get him out now.
Meanwhile, David Cameron and Theresa May are at odds over the human rights. Theresa May wants to quit the European Convention on Human Rights.
Let’s hope she gets her way.
