Sheffield Justice for All is holding a talk about the future of the Human Rights Act.

Gareth Peirce, a human rights solicitor, will lead the debate, which takes place from 7.15pm on Friday, at the Central United Reformed Church, Chapel Walk.

He will discuss ‘threats’ to the legislation, such as deportations, plans to admit secret evidence in court and force telecomms operators to collect and store all records of e-mails, texts and phone calls, and cuts to legal aid. Contact for information.
