Huge fire breaks out at derelict pub as plumes of black smoke billow across the sky

The fire broke out at the disused pub on South Street, Highfields this morning (Tuesday, August 11).

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue tweeted: “We are currently in attendance at an incident on South Street in #Highfields Doncaster

“This is a derelict building well alight. Please do avoid the area if you can.”
