A huge CAT festival is heading to Sheffield and this is how you can get tickets

A Crazy Cat Festival is heading to Sheffield to celebrate all things feline in every way you can think of.

Sheffield cat lovers will get the chance to enthuse over their favourite obsession by shopping the hottest trends to pamper your pussycat and the cutest cat themed accessories.

There will also cat-themed cocktails at the pop-up cat cat cafes and a cat-centric marketplace with a range of different goodies to browse over.

And, maybe best of all, visitors can get up close and personal with the local rescue centre cats and learn all about adopting - in between cuddles.

The festival will be held at Plug on Matilda Street on Saturday, July 14, from 10am to 2pm.

A Crazy Cat Fest spokesperson said: "Although you sadly can’t bring your own cat along, share stories and pictures of your little purr-ince or purr-incess with our Crazy Cat Corner.

"Think speed dating, but with the chance to show off your furry family member!

"Still need purr-suading? Make sure you don’t miss the celebrity guests, live talks and demonstrations making sure your cat care skills are up to scratch.

"We’ll also be hosting a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn to take stunning photographs of your pet in our cat social media workshop so your followers never have to miss a thing.
