Hospital volunteers in Chesterfield thanked for their efforts

Volunteers at Chesterfield Royal Hospital were treated to a breakfast to thank them for their efforts.

To coincide National Volunteering Week hospital bosses thanked the army of 80 volunteers who work along side another 37 from agencies including British Red Cross, Sight Support Derbyshire and Headstrong.

Richard Ball, is the NHS Trust’s Volunteer Co-ordinator, said: “It’s important for us to recognise the precious commodity of time and effort our volunteers put into coming here.”
