A BURGLAR who broke into staff quarters at Chesterfield Hospital has been jailed.
Gavin Treweek, aged 41, of Stubbing Road, Chesterfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary.
He admitted breaking into accommodation used by nurses at the hospital in April last year.
He stole a laptop computer from one of the rooms.
Treweek also pleaded guilty to an offence of possessing an imitation firearm, which he brandished in The Crooked Spire pub in the town a few months later.
He was arrested after officers linked him to the burglary through a torch found in the room with his fingerprints on it.
Treweek was locked up for 12 months for the burglary and a further nine months for the firearm offence.
