HAVING a Bank Holiday clear out? Give all those unwanted items a new lease of life… and support St Luke’s Hospice.

The hospice holds its annual Summer Fair at St Mary’s Church and Community Centre in Bramall Lane, Sheffield, this Saturday, June 9.

With new longer opening hours, the fair will begin at noon and go through to 5pm, with an admission charge of £1.

But organisers are still looking for items that can be sold on the fair’s many stalls.

“We specifically need garden plants for our plant stall, books, CDs, DVDs and bric-a-brac, and drinks prizes for the tombola, such as bottled soft drinks, beer, wine or spirits,” said events manager Anna Sheppard. “If you’re able to donate please bring items to hospice reception at Little Common Lane this week.”
