Drugs, organised crime gangs, traffic offenders, benefit fraud and immigration offences are under the spotlight as part of Operation Duxford, which is being run in the town for the third time.

POLICE: South Yorkshire police officers owed 2,252 days offChief Inspector Rebecca Chapman, of South Yorkshire Police, said: "If you are breaking the law, we will find you and we are coming after you."You will see more police in Rotherham today and we will share our results as soon as they come in.

Officers will be carrying out warrants, traffic stops and targeting 'wanted' offenders. They will be working in areas including Eastwood, Wellgate, Brinsworth and Kimberworth.
