Burglars raided four homes in Sheffield after forcing windows to gain entry.

Over recent days homes have been broken into in Olive Grove Road, Heeley; Folds Drive, Beauchief; Montgomery Road, Nether Edge and Pomona Street, Sharrow.

Attempts were made to force window in Millhouses Lane and Dobcroft Road, both in Millhouses, but burglars failed to get into the houses.

Officers are also investigating a burglary in Neill Road, Hunters Bar, after a rear door was forced open.
