BT was due to have completed repairs to faulty cables which left 57 households without telephone or internet services.

The problem affected residents in Wentworth, Rotherham, who had no service for a fortnight. BT has apologised and said the delay was due to contractors needing a survey of traffic on the road where cables had to be dug up for safety reasons. Homes were due to have been reconnected yesterday.
