The former Stocksbridge Park Steels striker has taken the Premier League by storm this season, firing his Leicester City team to the top of the table.

Now Hollywood film studios are said to be interested on putting Vardy's sensational story on the big screen.

A Warner Brothers source told the Daily Star: "There is a lot of excitement about the Vardy project because companies have been looking at a new feel-good picture like Field Of Dreams for some time.

"When the research was done it was realised that soccer is very much attracting attention all over the States now," the source allegedly added.

The tabloid also suggest that Ryan Gosling, Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon are being considered for the role of Vardy, adding: "The only question mark is whether the part of Vardy should be played by an American or Englishman. There is an argument for either option."
