The clip shows the exasperated supporter leaning into the row in front of him at Bramall Lane and pulling his fellow fan’s black woollen Blades hat down until it totally covers his face.

But the fan seems unmoved by the ‘attack,’ simply pulling up the hat and re-adjusting his headgear as the game continues in front of him.

The clip shows a supporter in a grey coat and black baseball cap pulling his fellow fan’s hat over his face in the dying moments of the game which ended in a 1-0 defeat to Blades.

The commentator can be heard telling viewers: “They don’t look happy do they, the Sheffield United fans?”

The game marked a winning return to Bramall Lane for former United boss Neil Warnock on his first return to the club since his departure the previous summer.

A goal from Jamie Scowcroft separated the two sides – with the result coming towards the end of Bryan Robson’s reign in the Blades hotseat.

United were booed off following the game and just six weeks later Robson was given his marching orders.
