High fives as Main Street set pace
SETTING the pace at the top of the County Senior League are Mexborough Main Street after a 3-1 win over Outokumpu - their fifth on the trot. Craig Roden scored all three.
It followed Main Street's midweek win over Dearne.
Last season's Premier champions Athersley Rec, with shock defeats behind them, at last got back to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Dinnington Town through Leon Sidebottom and James Zazslos.
A fine team effort, in which Marcus Brameld hit a double, saw Hollinsend Ams to a 3-2 victory over Parkgate.
Hot-shots HSBC followed their midweek 5-2 win over Thorpe Hesley witha 4-0 triumph against Stocksbridge Park thanks to Liam Morris, Martin Taylor, James Cook and Phil Barnes.

Oughtibridge WM also had their shooting-boots on at Dearne, John Kemtzer netting twice in the 5-2 triumph while Springwood-Davy were 2-0 winners over Wombwell Main through Micky Mulgrew and Liam Allott.
Thorpe Hesley edged out Sheffield Lane Top 2-1 with Mike Finnie and Lewis Pearce on target. Marksman of the day was Handsworth striker Nat Reed, who hammered five goals in their 6-0 Division One win over Wickersley.
