With 6ft 7ins striker Peter Crouch suspended and England down to the bare bones through injury Doncaster entertainer Jim Laybourne could be in line for a call-up for the game at Wembley, if Emile Heskey gets injured.

Jim donned stilts to tower above everyone in Doncaster’s market place, dressed as a footballer, as part of an event to mark the workplace smoking ban brought in this summer.
