Help for budding film-makers

A PRESENTATION on the theory of film-making will be held at tomorrow's meeting of Doncaster Movie Makers' Camcorder Club at the Wheatley Area Community Centre, 249 Beckett Road, from 7.15pm.

Any films brought along will be creatively assessed by members to help the maker improve their technique. Call 01302 327880 for more information.

BAWTRY town councillors are unhappy with the sheeting that has been placed on the windows of the Masonic Hall on Tickhill Road and are asking Doncaster Council planners to take up the matter.

THREE dwellings in Ellers Road, Bessacarr, could be pulled down to provide a two acre plot for an estate of 12 detached homes to be built if Doncaster councillors grant planning permission.
