On Monday temperatures and humidity will start to build and the mercury should reach a very warm and pleasant 23C.

On Tuesday it will be even hotter with temperatures reaching a balmy 26C - or 79F - in Sheffield.

The bad news is the hot weather is not set to last with a return to more unsettled and cooler conditions from midweek onwards.
