The relentless heatwave which has gripped much of the country for the last six weeks shows no signs of letting up and temperatures are set to increase even further.

Yesterday the Met Office issued an amber 'heat health watch' warning advising people to stay out of the sun during the middle of the day.

Temperatures are set to continue to soar in Sheffield this week and Thursday looks set to be the hottest day of the year so far in the city.
