Healthy new tree is a welcome addition
When the sun does shine it's good seeing the way the replacement tree outside my home in Fulwood is flourishing. It has settled well since it was planted earlier late last year, is looking strong and in recent days has started to blossom as the photograph shows.
The tree replaced one which was diseased, (as was clear when it was cut down), the roots of which were damaging the pavement and a garden wall. It makes no sense to object to the the replacement of such trees and I do wish people would consider the long-term benefit. The new tree is a welcome addition to the area - long may it bloom.
