Local health bosses will be on hand to talk about the latest developments in community healthcare from across Derbyshire and Leicestershire and to answer questions from the public on Thursday September 22.
Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust are throwing open the doors to display examples of their innovations in patient care and to present their 2010/11 Annual Report – their first as a fully-fledged NHS Trust.
One of the hallmarks of the AGM evening – in the Ballroom at The Whitworth Centre, Darley Dale, Matlock – will be about engaging interest and providing opportunities for feedback and questions from the public about community healthcare.
Tracey Allen, Chief Executive of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, said: “We’d like to extend a warm welcome to anybody who wants to come along, find out more about what we do and share their ideas and ask us questions.
“The involvement of patients, families, relatives and other members of the public in what we do has never been more important to us, especially as we move towards becoming a Foundation Trust and building an active public membership.”
The AGM starts at 5.30pm and the annual report will begin at 6pm. The meeting is due to finish at 7pm.
