A GROUP of students from a South Yorkshire college got a taste of celebrity life when they took part in a professional photo shoot for a Department of Health campaign.
The six youngsters from Barnsley College enjoyed an all-expenses paid trip to London and were treated to a make-over by professional hair and make-up artists followed by the shoot at a leading UK photography studio.
The pictures will be used in publicity for the Department of Health’s Healthy Further Education Programme.
They were picked from 40 applications by the college after filling out a form explaining why they wanted to take part.
Polly Harrow, head of personal and social development at the college, said: “The calibre of the applications we received was very high and it was an extremely tough decision.”
