Supermarket helps hospice

Have your say

A SHEFFIELD supermarket has organised a charity day in support of St Luke’s Hospice.

Sainsbury’s at Crystal Peaks has set up the Donation Day on Monday, August 15, when customers are invited to drop off unwanted items that can then be sold in the charity’s shops around the city.

Clothes, bric-a-brac, household items, CDs and DVDs, fine glass and china, books, jewellery, hats, purses and handbags are all welcome, but people are asked not to donate electrical items or video tapes.

n Customers will be able to hand their bags directly to a St Luke’s driver between 11am and 2pm in the car park next to the store.
