A SUPERMARKET chain has teamed up with one of Sheffield’s best-loved charities for a year of fundraising fun.
Sainsbury’s at Crystal Peaks has picked St Luke’s Hospice as its charity partner for 2011/2012.
The organisation was chosen following an in-store vote which asked customers to pick their favourite local charity.
Bucket collections will be held in store next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with a host of other events planned to raise cash over the next 12 months.
Hannah Jordan, from the hospice, said they were excited about the partnership with Sainsbury’s.
She added: “We would like to thank everyone in the community who voted for us and hope that customers will support the store’s fundraising efforts in the coming months.”
