Podiatrists at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have been awarded the prestigious Customer Service Excellence Standard for the fifteenth consecutive year.
The top accolade is a national standard of excellence award independently issued in recognition of excellent customer service, and is independently assessed and awarded by the Cabinet Office.
Any organisation throughout the country can apply for the award – which rigorously assesses services to ensure that customers are being put first.
The Sheffield Podiatry Services team provide a comprehensive range of services, from screening and treating patients with diabetes who may develop foot complications, to podiatric surgery and a range of other treatments for foot conditions.
They are one of only a handful of organisations throughout the country to achieve the standard.
Dr Lisa Farndon, podiatric development facilitator at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We’re delighted to have retained the prestigious Customer Service Excellence Standard for yet another year.
“The standard is a badge of honour that is widely recognised across the country,”
