Santa’s little helpers reward Sheffield hospital workers

Have your say

Christmas cheer has been spread through Sheffield Children’s Hospital as part of National Elf Service day.

Staff from the hospital’s charity dressed as elves to deliver mince pies to workers on the wards to thank them for the care they provide all year round.

During the festive fun day staff and patients took part in a host of seasonal fundraisers, including sponsored fancy dress days, to raise cash for the charity. They also decked out their wards with sparkling decorations and prizes were given to reward the best decorated ward and the one that raised the most money.
