Qualified nurses looking for work in Sheffield are being invited to an information day as part of a recruitment drive at the city’s hospitals.
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals is spending an extra £1.5 million to take on additional nurses to help services cope with a rise in patient numbers.
The recruitment day is happening at the Northern General Hospital’s Rivermead Centre from 10am to 2pm on Saturday.
Potential new recruits will be able to speak to representatives from different departments to find out more about jobs available.
Chris Morley, deputy chief nurse at the trust, said: “Whether you are in your final year of study, already employed or returning to practice, or perhaps an operating department practitioner, we want to hear from you.”
