Professor to share latest child protection research

A leading child protection researcher is visiting Sheffield for a debate on preventing abuse and neglect towards youngsters.

Prof Julie Taylor, from the NSPCC’s Child Protection Research Centre at Edinburgh University, is speaking at Sheffield Town Hall on October 7.

The event - the Royal College of Nursing’s annual Winifred Raphael Memorial Lecture - is hosted by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and the National Institute for Health Research.

Prof Taylor’s talk is entitled ‘Don’t Wait Until You’re Certain: Protecting Children from Abuse and Neglect’, and runs from 5.30pm to 7.45pm.
