A retired pharmacist and doctor were guest of honours at the official re-launch of a pharmacy in Sheffield.

Lloyds Pharmacy on Handsworth Road, Handsworth, was opened David Reardon, who was the manager and pharmacist at the pharmacy for 35 years before retiring nine years ago.

He was joined by Dr Abdul Shaikh, a retired senior partner and GP from the nearby Handsworth Medical Centre.

The pharmacy, run by Pete Johal, now offers free, enhanced services for a range of conditions, including skin health and pain management.
