A PLUCKY pensioner took to the skies for a fundraising parachute jump in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Adrenalin junkie Bill Barron completed the charity skydive the day after he turned 78.
He was joined by his grandson Carl MacDermott, aged 22, for the tandem jump from 15,000ft - taking off and landing at Hibaldstow airfield in North Lincolnshire.
It is the second time Bill has taken part in a skydive - last year he used his debut challenge to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of his late wife Alma, who lived with the condition.
This year he chose to raise cash for Macmillan in honour of family friend Pamela Moxon who lost her battle against the disease last year.
In total they raised a whopping £1,516 for the charity and its work.
