A HEROIC team of doctors and nurses crossed the country to raise money for Sheffield’s stroke unit.
The 14 cyclists pedalled 165 miles from Morecambe to Bridlington to raise funds for the Royal Hallamshire unit.
Stroke nurse consultant Amanda Jones said: “We managed to survive the bike ride and had a fantastic time.
“Money is starting to come in but we need more to buy much-needed equipment for the stroke service.”
