The feel good factor will be in full swing at the launch of a new community pharmacy in Sheffield.
Lloyds Pharmacy in Crystal Peaks shopping centre is to host a Feel Good Friday party to mark its official opening.
The event will take place tomorrow from 10am. One of Sheffield’s Women of Steel, Ruby Gascoigne, aged 90, will cut the ribbon in a ceremony at noon. The party will include musical entertainment from a string duo, cake and soft drinks, and free children’s face painting between 10am and 2pm.
A range of free health services including expert advice on skin health and chronic pain management will be on offer at the branch. Its new ‘community concept’ is designed to give people better access to health information.
