New website for Sheffield people with HIV

A NEW website has been launched for people living with or affected by HIV in Sheffield.

‘Positively Sheffield’, which is funded by the Sheffield Council Aids support grant, will provide a wide range of information and resources.

Steve Slack, director of the Sheffield Centre for HIV and Sexual Health, part of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “This important new initiative will consolidate and enhance Sheffield’s excellent services for people living with or affected by HIV.

“In addition to providing access to the latest information, it will provide invaluable online support to people who may be isolated as a result of HIV-related stigma and prejudice.” Log on to
