A healthcare company has been chosen to provide catering services to patients, staff and visitors at Rotherham Hospital.
ISS Healthcare has been selected to run the services from neat month by The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.
The company currently provides meals to inpatients at Rotherham Hospital and serves food in the hospital’s Rooftop Restaurant, which is used by visitors as well as patients and staff.
An electronic meal ordering system will be introduced on wards as part of the new deal.
John Cartwright, Director of Estates and Facilities at the trust, said: “It’s very important that our patients eat and drink well to support their health and recovery and we are excited about the benefits the new services will bring.”
