St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield is to host a major national conference on funding and service improvements in end of life care.

The February 26 event, with spaces for up to 100 delegates, is aimed at healthcare and medical personnel from across the country.

Dr Sam Kyeremateng, Medical Director and Consultant in Palliative Care at St Lukes, said: “The aim of conference is to address some of the ways forward in collecting clinical outcomes in palliative care practice relating this to developments in service improvement, patient care and future funding and commissioning arrangements.

“This will include practical presentations and workshops to help delegates implement and use clinical outcomes in day to day practice.”
