A SHEFFIELD-based company which works with patients to find out how the NHS can be improved has been endorsed in the Houses of Parliament.

In a meeting of the Healthcare Select Committee, online consultation service Patient Opinion, based on Mowbray Street, on the edge of the city centre, was recognised for the ‘value of feedback’ it provides, which has led to changes across the service.

Committee members said they saw ‘great value in NHS providers constantly viewing the comments left about them on websites such as Patient Opinion’.

Patient Opinion’s chief executive, Paul Hodgkin, said: “I am delighted to see our service recognised as critical in driving NHS improvements.”
