Marathon man visits Sheffield

A FITNESS fanatic who previously ran 100 marathons in 100 days across Europe for charity reached Sheffield as part of his latest challenge - 30 marathons in 30 successive days in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.

Matthew Loddy, aged 47, from Hertfordshire, who lost losing a close friend to cancer, started his extreme marathon on March 23 in Edinburgh and will end his 786-mile route with the London Marathon on April 21.
