A FITNESS fanatic who previously ran 100 marathons in 100 days across Europe for charity reached Sheffield as part of his latest challenge - 30 marathons in 30 successive days in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.

Matthew Loddy, aged 47, from Hertfordshire, started his extreme marathon on March 23 in Edinburgh and will end his 786-mile route with the London Marathon on April 21.

Matthew is taking on the gruelling challenge after losing a close friend to cancer.
