It’s a Knockout for St Luke’s

Have your say

IT’S wet, it’s wild, it’s retro - and it raises money for St Luke’s Hospice.

It’s a Knockout is the annual competition based on the popular 1970s TV show, that brings fun-loving Sheffield teams together to battle it out to win the prestigious St. Luke’s trophy and raise much needed funds for the hospice.

It’s a Knockout is being held at the HSBC Sports Ground, Dore, on Sunday, July 8, from noon to 5pm and is open to 20 teams of 10 participants, with each team raising a minimum of £750 in sponsorship.

Claire Hunter, St Luke’s events manager, said: “The event kicks off with a programme of entertainment, inflatables, sporting challenges and a market place with homemade cakes and crafts - so bring the whole family.

“We’ll have a barbecue, bar, ice cream and drinks served from noon - so it’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday.”
