AN EVENING of music from local acts will help raise money for a leading city cancer charity.

The event at Silverwood Miner’s Welfare Club in Doncaster Road, Dalton, Rotherham, will feature cabaret girl trio Jacinta Widdowson, aged 18, Stacey Link, 23, and Kelsey Tyzack, 13, along with indie band Failed Theory. Tickets cost £3 in advance from the club, or £4 on the door.

Money raised at the event on April 22 will go to the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity.

Doors open at 7.30pm, with the music following at 8pm.
