A mental health charity is inviting cyclists to tour the landscapes of the Peak District in a fundraising challenge.

Recovery Enterprises has launched an appeal for people to sign up to the first Re:Cycle Ride, which includes routes through Derbyshire beauty spots.

The Sheffield-based charity, which aims to help adults with mental health issues fulfil their ambitions, is holding the event on October 6.

The bike ride offers routes of 20, 60 and 100 miles, all taking in Peak District scenery.

Sarah Proctor, manager at Recovery Enterprises, said: “Cycling is a fantastic way of improving mental and physical health.”
