PEOPLE will be able to donate blood at Dearne Valley College next week, when the National Blood Service visits.
The service’s mobile donation Bloodmobile will be at the Manvers Campus on Tuesday, January 17, between 9.30am and 12.30pm and then 1.30pm to 4pm for people to donate blood.
Adam Stancey, sports centre manager at the college, said: “We are urging as many people as possible to do their bit and book an appointment today.”

Cancer care volunteers
A CANCER care charity is looking for volunteers in the Rother Valley to help set up a new fundraising group.
Marie Curie Cancer Care needs supporters to hold events, help with supermarket collections and share ideas to raise vital funds.
Community fundraiser Liz Howlett said: “The support of fundraising groups is absolutely invaluable to us and we are beyond delighted to be launching the Rother Valley Marie Curie fundraising group. Whatever your skills, the Rother Valley fundraising group will give you a very warm welcome!”
