Garden helping people recover

Have your say

mental health patients are using green therapy in a garden they have made to set them on the road to recovery.

Rehabilitation patients with long term enduring mental health needs from the Goldcrest ward at Swallownest Court, Rotherham, have created a ‘mini-paradise’ in the grounds.

A spokeswoman for the centre said: “They have discovered that as well as their garden giving them something to look after. Some say that tending the garden makes them feel less lonely.”
