When the Reds met the Blues there was only one winner – St Luke’s Hospice.

Reds v Blues charity football matches were started by Sheffield Forum FC and Hillsborough Club FC managers to raise money for city charities.

This year’s fixture took place at Hillsborough Arena and saw professional boxers Ryan Rhodes and Ross ‘the Boss’ Burkinshaw line up alongside retired football players including David Hirst, Matt Hamshaw, Curtis Woodhouse and Paul Devlin, all refereed by Uriah Rennie.

The match raised a total of £1,528 for the hospice.
