Young patients on the children’s unit at Doncaster Royal Infirmary now have the latest console and games thanks to kind-hearted Doncaster cricketers.
Tim Hawkins, chairman of the Doncaster Infirmary Cricket League, presented the Xbox package to the department, which included Toy Story for younger children and Fifa 13 for the older ones.
“We’re all delighted that our donation this year was able to buy this console for the children. It is good to know that this will help many children feel more comfortable during their stay at the hospital,” he said.
