BOSSES at NHS Doncaster are asking residents to rank what matters to them as part of a consultation about the future of health services in the borough.
GPs have helped develop a nine-point list and there is also space for people to add anything else they think should be included.
The response from Doncaster will help shape the way in which the primary care trust boards make decisions about future services.
The list includes patient safety, long-term sustainability, access to specialists, quality of care, and ways of caring for people in the community to help them avoid them having to be admitted to hospital.
The questionnaires need to be completed by Thursday, March 24.
Dr Lis Rodgers, NHS Doncaster’s medical adviser, said: “This survey is a crucial part of the whole review. The aim is to establish principles which will influence any plans. The more responses we get, the better.
“When people see the list they will probably say that everything on it is important. It is - but knowing which ones are viewed as the most important will help us make the right decisions in the end.
“We want to ensure that people can tell us their views every step of the way.”
