A SOUTH Yorkshire car dealership put their efforts into fundraising for a leading local cancer charity following the death of an employee’s friend from the disease.
Perrys at Parkgate, Rotherham, held a prize raffle in support of Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity with prizes including VIP tickets to Rotherham United, spa treatments, wine and chocolates.
It was organised after staff member Kerry Mathias’ friend was treated there before her death from the disease.
Darren Ardron, general manager, said: “We were only too happy to be able to help Kerry raise money for Weston Park.
“The hospital does some fantastic work and supports both patients as well as their families. We would like to thank everyone that bought a ticket as well as those who donated the fantastic prizes.”
