A South Yorkshire NHS trust is encouraging staff to make a pledge to improve patient care.
South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, which provides a range of community, mental health, wellbeing and learning disability services to the people of Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield, is supporting the NHS Change Day initiative.
It is encouraging staff, and those they work in partnership with, to make a pledge to do something that will make a positive difference for patient care.
Trust chief executive, Steven Michael OBE said: “NHS Change Day is an opportunity for people to challenge the status quo and to try something simple but different to improve patient care. Pledges are about making changes that matter in every day practice.”
