FOUR brothers will be going the distance in honour of their dad who is battling bowel cancer when they take on a marathon challenge.

Tim, Nick, James and Philip Morris will be taking part in the White Peaks Marathon on Saturday May 21 raising money for Weston Park Hospital where their father Ian is being treated.

The gruelling 26.2 mile course travels along the Tissington Trail to join the High Peak Trail near Parsley Hay in Derbyshire.

Nick, aged 32, is the only one of the brothers to have completed a marathon before - but James, 22, said they were all “nervous but excited” about the challenge.

He said: “We wanted to do something to say thank you for all the care Dad has received at the hospital since he became ill.”
